L’Elisir D’Amore, is a work vintage Donizetti, the famous Italian opera composer. This two-act opera combining touching romance and a quack’s fool tricks contribute to an amusing comedy. With beautiful melodies, fine characterization and strong dramatic plots, it has shaped the deep tradition of Italian opera and vocal art. It remains the world’s most popular and beloved comic opera to this day.
