Mozart’s Idomeneo, presented by Grand River Opera
October 16th-18th, The Registry Theatre in Kitchener
Caught in a violent storm, Idomeneo makes a deal with Neptune to sacrifice the first person he sees, if he and his crew survive. This terrible vow has chilling consequences that rip through the island of Crete.
Come see this emotional piece exploring family, love, duty, community — and how we respond when disaster threatens it all.
The opera will be staged, sung in Italian, with piano accompaniment and projected English translations.
