Exciting news: Jenna Simeonov, our Social Media Manager and editor of Schmopera, has started a new podcast!
It’s called The Everything Will Be Okay Podcast, and it’s a series of interviews with artists as they grapple with the ripple effect of the global pandemic. How long can they handle being out of work? Which companies will survive? And will everything be okay?
Along with the trailer, the first episode is out now, and it features Bramwell Tovey, celebrated conductor and composer, and Artistic Director of Calgary Opera.
We’re excited for a bit of content sharing between opera-friendly media platforms like Opera Canada and Schmopera, so we’ll be spreading the word about new episodes as they’re released each Tuesday.
