by | Apr 28, 2021 | Featured, News

This weekend, catch up with Canadian composer Andrew Ager (Frankenstein, Führerbunker)!

In an interview led by the National Capital Opera Society, Andrew Ager is joined by Bronx Opera General Director Ben Spierman, and Canadian singers Carmen Harris and Bradley Christensen on May 2, 2pmET. These four operatic figures will discuss their own current and future projects, and chat about the effects of the past year on opera’s innovation and development.

In addition to the interview, viewers can catch Ager’s work in two new staged opera videos, directed by Spierman. Harris gives a performance from his new opera, Angel, and Christensen sings an excerpt from Ager’s Dracula.

The event is free to attend with registration. To register, email NCOS’s Lesley Robinson at NCOSZoom@ncos.ca.
