Post-Performance Q&A: Aportia Chryptych in Discussion
Join the COC Teen Council for an interactive discussion with the Aportia Chryptych: A Black Opera for Portia White creative team following their Free Concert Series performance!
Learn more about Aportia Chryptych, a new work premiering at the COC Theatre this June. Take a look behind-the-scenes with director and librettist HAUI, composer and conductor Sean Mayes, Associate Producer and Assistant Director Sheree Spencer, dramaturg Neema Bickersteth, and two cast members as they explore the process of creating, producing, and performing this innovative work. Facilitated by the COC Teen Council, participants will have the opportunity to learn about Portia White and the legacy of Black voices in Canada.
