La Scena Musicale launches CORONA Serenades

by | Apr 26, 2020 | Featured, News

Canadian classical music magazine La Scena Musicale has launched a new initiative, CORONA Serenades, to help spread cheer during self-isolation – and support musicians suffering loss of income.

CORONA Serenades offers tailor-made videos by trained singers, featuring by-request performances of your favourite song or aria, or personalized messages to those who could use a pick-me-up. Serenades has just released a 30-minute compilation of highlights from its first week in operation.

The growing artist roster features singers from around the world, including a great cohort of Canadians. The suggested donation cost for each order is $30-$70. The service is free for front-line care workers and people currently suffering from COVID-19. To find out more and to support musicians, front-line workers, and those battling the virus, click here.
