Against the Grain Theatre offers Virtual Opera Salon

by | Apr 19, 2020 | Featured, News

On April 24 at 7:30pm EDT, Against the Grain Theatre is presenting its first new virtual event. The indie opera company is partnering with Rue Pigalle for their Virtual Opera Salon, which will feature home-based performances by tenor Matthew Dalen and pianist Holly Kroeker.

“We have curated an evening of songs and arias that fill our hearts with joy. In isolation it is more important than ever to nourish our hearts and re-energize our spirits,” says Kroeker. “In times like these, we are all reflecting and taking stock of our lives. We hope that this recital will help you face tomorrow with your chin up, spirits high, and eyes on the future.”

AtG ticket holders will receive a Zoom link to the Salon, and Against the Grain Theatre encourages putting on one’s “finest” and mixing up a “quarantine cocktail” to make it a real do.

The Virtual Opera Salon kicks off April 24 at 7:30pm EDT. Tickets are $60, and available here.
