AtG TV: Against the Grain Theatre goes digital

by | May 14, 2020 | Featured, News

Against the Grain Theatre has been on the ready for opera’s shift from stage to screen, offering up their broadcast of La bohème twice since the live performing arts hit pause. Now, with the unveiling of AtG TV, the indie opera company is committing to ongoing original content, tailored for digital consumption.

The content kicks off this Thursday, May 14 at 2pm EDT on their Facebook page, where AtG Artistic Director Joel Ivany interviews Canadian tenor Ben Heppner. The AtG TV Interview Series will happen every second Thursday at 2pm. Details are TBA, but the company promises good stuff:

“Celebrity crushes, favourite tea blends, most embarrassing stage kiss moment: you never know what you could miss, so make sure you join us!”
